As we continue to expand out our areas of expertise, we are pleased to welcome Dev Koushik as our newest member.
Dev Koushik is a global executive with significant expertise in pricing, revenue management, distribution, data science and analytics functions in the travel, transportation and logistics sectors. He has proven success in leveraging his skill sets in advanced analytics, technology and product management to build and lead high-performance teams that deliver industry leading results.
One of his travel industry-leading achievements was designing and implementing a price optimization capability that resulted in incremental revenue improvements to the tune of $600M. In addition, he was instrumental in driving direct booking efforts through the development of innovative pricing strategies to help drive down cost of sale for hotels. During his tenure in the transportation and logistics space, he drove the digital transformation of the business through inventive revenue strategies, resulting in operational improvements helping to drive profitability growth by $100M.
Most recently at XPO Logistics (a transportation and logistics firm), Dev was responsible for overseeing pricing and revenue management as well as creating enduring solutions that allowed XPO to drive top-line revenues and profitability growth. Prior to XPO Logistics, he held key leadership roles in IHG, focusing on generating top-line revenue growth through innovative revenue strategies and advanced analytics. Dev also brings a unique perspective from the wider travel space, as during his time consulting for PROS he worked with a number of the airline and car rental organizations.
Dev has a Masters in Operations Research from University of Florida. He lives with his wife and kids in the Greater Atlanta area. In his free time, Dev coaches his son’s high school Quiz Bowl team. He enjoys traveling and quizzing.
